Rinu Oduala Gives Update On Day One Of Lagos Judicial Panel
Popular Nigerian activist and Twitter influencer, Rinoula Oduala aka SavvyRinu on Twitter has given a summary of how the first day of the panel set up to probe police brutality in the country went.
According to Rinu via the micro blogging platform, the meeting which held yesterday started quite late because they were asked to sign an ‘Oath of Secrecy’ form which they refused.
She also revealed there were 4 cases for yesterday but the first was already adjudged in court so there wasn’t much to do or say. “The second case would’ve been the case of the day, but the accused wasn’t present so it was adjourned. Petitioners/clients for 3rd and 4th weren’t present so cases were adjourned”.
The next sitting is slated for Friday according to Rinu and she shared a link for people that have “gone through horrors at the hand of this criminal unit called SARS.”
