Omah Lay finally breaks silence on why he’s always depressed

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Stanley Omah Didia, better known as Omah Lay, in a recent online post disclosed one of the reasons behind his chronic depression.

Omah Lay who rose to stardom in the year 2020 with his hit song “Bad Influence” is well known for his disturbing posts online as many netizens claimed that they have never seen him happy as he hardly smiles.

Sometimes in July 2022, Omah Lay, the “Soso” hitmaker made it known to all and sundry that he has coitus exercise with his therapist and his depression gets worse.

He also added that he was depressed and even contemplated suicide while recording his last album, “Boy Alone.”

In October 2023, Omah Lay further raised eyebrows during an interview as he revealed that he didn’t believe in any religion and at a point, he was going to convert to Muslim.

Shedding more light on his depression, Omah Lay in a post shared via his verified page on X formerly called Twitter today, January 22nd 2023 said that he is deficient in money.

He begs his God to shower him with more money as he claims that he needs more money.

He wrote; “God! I need more money please ????????.”
