Nigerian Music Star Mr Eazi Bags Grammy Award
Nigerian singer, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade aka Mr Eazi has emerged a winner of the prestigious Latin Grammy award, becoming the first Nigerian based musician to win the award.
While the likes of Wizkid and Burna Boy have been touted to win a grammy award first, Mr Eazi showed his grit by beating the duo and other top musicians to the award.
Mr Eazi won a was credited with the Grammy award as he’s featured on J Balvin’s album “COLORES” which took home the “Best Urban Music Album” award.
An excited Eazi took to his Twitter page to announce the award, he wrote,
“I got so in Love with the Latino/Urbano scene I recorded, toured , learned & made magic with some of the most beautiful souls!! @MichaelBrun @JBALVIN , Sky & the entire Latino Gang!!! We got a Grammy ❤️”

Mr Eazi becomes the first Nigerian based musician to have won the award, Sade Adu, another Nigerian who has won a Grammy (not Latin Grammy) as an English singer. Congratulations Mr Eazi.
