The 2019 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) was held in Lagos, Nigeria on Saturday,23rd Of November , where Nigerian Act Burna Boy and several other Nigerian artistes who won different categories were absent.
Furthermore most Nigerian Act were represented by their managers unlike award winners from other regions of Africa who were in attendance.
Furthermore, Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed was present at this awards show.
Wizkid also won song of the year in Africa, with his song ‘Fever’, while Tiwa Savage won Best Female Artiste in Western Africa.
