DJ Cuppy Sues Davido’s Assistant, IsraelDMW For Libel & Defamation
Popular Nigerian disc jockey cum singer Florence Ifeoluwa better known as DJ Cuppy is taking legal action against one of Davido’s aides.
Over the past few days, there have been controversies over what may have caused the fall out between DJ Cuppy and Zlatan Ibile. We had reported that Cuppy publicly complained on Twitter that she was blocked by Zlatan on WhatsApp and Instagram. Zlatan recently also feigned ignorance about knowing Cuppy.
In the heat of the disagreement, Israel an aide to Davido alleged that Cuppy did not pay Zlatan for his services after the latter performed at her fundraiser event in Abuja. Israel alleged that the ‘Zanku’ crooner took care of his bills and that of his crew without input from Cuppy.
With this seemingly false indictment, DJ Cuppy has officially filed a legal suit against Israel. She shared the information on Twitter while also tagging him.
Cuppy also cleared the air about owing Zlatan in her note on Instagram.

There have been no breaches of my contractual agreement regarding the song #Gelato as confirmed by lawyers… However, as @IsrealDMW publicly inaccurately declared I owe an artist money, I am suing him for libel and defamation…
