Twitter User Narrates How EFCC Arrested And Kept Him In A Cell For No Reason
A Twitter influencer, @rotimi_4g has taken to the platform to narrate how he was arrested and kept in a cell for no reason by the supposed Economic Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
According to Rotimi, he was arrested in his house on 14th of October 2020 alongside others and together they were paraded as ‘suspected internet fraudsters’ even when nothing was found incriminating on him.
He revealed he was taken into custody and spent 2 days in the cell because he couldn’t meet up with bail conditions which included; one lawyer, two surety with houses property in ibadan and must be a tax payer for at least 2 years.
Further more, his laptop, his android phone, an IPhone and a small sized phone were all seized from him and not returned till now, his apartment also was robbed and all appliances carted away as the house was left open after his arrest. Read as he recounts his ordeal;
